Needing Financial Assistance to Attend Our Conference?

The Association has received a grant for $10,000 from DSS to enable disabled persons to access the conference. The mandatory part of this grant is the person with AS has to attend. They can be looked after in the Children's room provided you bring a carer.

Assistance may be provided to contribute towards conference fees, travel and accommodation expenses for the conference, and costs of the carer.

The ASAA also has some limited resources to provide financial assistance for those current members of the ASAA who may wish to attend the conference.

Those with a genuine financial need may apply by sending a brief email of application indicating the level of financial support that is required.

Application emails should be sent by email to our Treasurer kevinkennedy.asaa@gmail.com by the 11th September 2016. Applications will be reviewed by the Committee and all applicants will be advised of the outcome.

If plans or circumstances change and you do not attend the conference, you will be required to return the grant funds to the ASAA.
